|Crescent City, FL: On Sunday, June 16, 2013, law enforcement officers with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the Crescent City Police Department responded to 1100 Read Avenue in an effort to locate an individual with a warrant.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers made contact with Thomas Mccullun. Mccullun was not the individual being sought, but when he emerged from the residence, officers were confronted with an overwhelming aroma of burnt cannabis. Officers then noticed a digital scale and plastic baggies in plain view. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and the officers located approximately 45 grams of crack cocaine, 50 Oxidone pills, synthetic marijuana, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Mccullun was arrested and charged with Cocaine-Trafficking, Opium or Derivative-Trafficking, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Mccullun was transported to the Putnam County Jail and was given a bond of $75,512.00.
